Maple tonewood provides exceptional clarity

Maple is renowned for achieving high-quality tones with exceptional clarity. The sound produced has an emphasised low end with balanced middle and high-end frequencies. Maple drums are versatile, suiting a range of styles, making them ideal for studio and live performances. For the Masters range, Pearl have refined their production of maple to a select number of premium cuts that deliver optimal quality and tight, consistent sound. This model of the Masters range uses cross-laminated plies of maple to make the shell 28 thinner than standard 6-ply shells.

Pearl's Superior Shell Technology for extreme shell strength

Pearl's Superior Shell Technology utilises a proprietary technique for achieving the ultimate air chamber. It begins with select woods chosen for their unique acoustic attributes, milled to precise thickness with overlapping scarf joint seams, for a perfect air-tight fit. The wood plies are saturated with Pearl's proprietary ''AcoustiGlue'' that permeates every pore and dries to the exact consistency of the wood for optimum resonance. Finally, the plies are formed in high-temperature moulds with 1000 PSI of hydraulic pressure to produce perfect drum shells that exhibit superior tone, optimal resonance and extreme strength.

SuperHoop II hoops on toms

The Pearl Masters toms all feature SuperHoop II hoops, offering perfect rim shots and cross-stick effects. These cleverly designed hoops are precision formed from heavy-duty 2.3mm steel and provide optimal resonance and articulation.

Masters professional drum hardware

Professional hardware touches include SP30 spurs, LB40 floor tom legs, insulated die-cast bass drum claws, and our sleek bridge-style CL lugs for reduced shell contact and improved shell performance.

All rack toms are equipped with Pearl's OptiMount suspension system that features a triangular design with two tension rod attachment points and another through one of the drum's two air vents. Rubber isolators at all connection points enable the drums to vibrate.

The Pearl STA1450S SensiTone snare is a practical and dependable addition to your kit. The bright, rounded crack of each strike is due to the 1mm shell that delivers punch without being overwhelming.

Sabian HHX Legacy Cymbal Pack

Rich, handcrafted musicality. Big, warm sound to sit in your grooves. The HHX Legacy Pack is part of Dave Weckl's signature cymbal line. Featuring larger cymbal dimensions like a 15'' hi-hat and 22'' ride, you can expect great projection, with vibrant and warm tones. Designed to be heard, but smoothly blend in, putting the groove at the forefront of your performance. All the HHX Legacy cymbals are highly responsive, featuring a clean yet soft and buttery stick sound. Great for jazz and smooth grooves. But, dynamically sensitive and versatile for a wide range of musical styles. Bought together, they are sonically matched and work in tandem to produce the perfect blend of tones, ready to play out of the box.
