The shell on the Sonor Kompressor 14 x 8'' Polished Aluminium Snare Drum is made of pure aluminium, meaning it is extremely lightweight, even compared to some standard wooden snare drums. Not only is this incredibly light in weight, but also very durable and able to withstand the brutality of touring. That's not all, aluminium shells produce abrasive, battering tones with an impressive amount of volume ideal for heavy drumming styles such as rock and heavy metal. Sonor's Optimum Shell Measurement technology has been used to manufacture the Kompressor Snare Drum, which allows the drumhead to sit more flush with the bearing edge, allowing for precise tones and tonal clarity.
