The TubeDreamer88 is designed to offer the same feel and tone as great, fine-tuned vintage amps pushed to various degrees of overdrive. Combining the powerful effects of the TubeDreamer72 and 58, the TubeDreamer88 produces incredible overdriven sounds with plenty of clarity to allow individual notes in complex chords to be heard. Made specifically for players wanting the 808 overdriven sound but with options for higher gain and more transparent sounds, the pedal provides three different overdrive sounds to choose from with the option of a high gain switch to add an extra boost.
Transparent Overdrive of The TubeDreamer72
To deliver a beautiful transparent overdrive, the TubeDreamer88 uses the same circuits as the 72, with JAM pedals’ “secret” chip offering unique tones throughout the range of gain and tone settings. Its asymmetrical clipping circuit allows the pedal to remain responsive, even to the most subtle nuances of your playing.
Warm, Rich Overdrive of The TubeDreamer58
For its main overdrive sound, the TubeDreamer88 uses the same circuitry as the 58 to create a carefully tuned, added midrange frequency register for a warm, rich overdrive. Its 3 diodes produce asymmetrical clipping, enhancing the pedals responsiveness to fretting and picking nuances.
