Taking the portable turntable experience to the next level, the STX provides a range of enhanced features and functions designed to optimise your scratching capabilities and improve your overall performance. The STX is the world's first portable turntable equipped with a mini InnoFader Nano crossfader. InnoFader are renowned for their high-end crossfader technology, providing superior precision and tracking accuracy compared to standard crossfaders. This allows you to cut and scratch fluidly, accurately tracking your movements to deliver a buttery-smooth operation.
You can customise the feel of the crossfader using the onboard 'Cut-In' and 'Curve' control knobs, allowing you to calibrate the fader to suit your own style. The STX also features a rock-slid platter and tonearm, ensuring the needle doesn’t jump when you're scratching. The turntable features a pitch slider with an 'Ultra Pitch' option, which pushes your pitch range to the extreme; allowing you to experiment with sound and even use the turntable to sample records.
Take your performances to the next level using looper/music apps from your smartphone or tablet device via Bluetooth connectivity or the 1/8-inch stereo input. You can perform using breakbeats, loop sections, incorporate external audio and more. You can also use the stereo RCA outputs to connect external mixers/speakers for live performances. The turntable can be powered/charged via the USB-C input, providing hours of playback from a full charge thanks to the onboard rechargeable batteries.
Adding to its portability, the Stanton STX also features a built-in speaker so you can hear your cuts wherever you are. Not only that, but you can record your performances quickly and easy, thanks to the inclusion of direct-to-USB recording. You can also practice in private using the 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch headphone jacks on offer. It also features start/stop buttons and can switch between 33 1/3, 45 and 79 RPM settings, so you can play everything from standard vinyl records to 7-inch singles. The robust enclosure comes complete with a stackable latching lid, which keeps your turntable free from dust and superficial damage whilst not in use.
