Vintage Tone

The Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar features an Alder body with a Maple neck that was based on Marr's 1965 Jaguar. With vintage-style truss rod, lacquer finish and Marr's signature on the front of the headstock, there is no mistaking this beautiful instrument with any other. The fantastic tone is brought to you by custom-wound Bare Knuckle Johnny Marr single-coil neck and bridge pickups that provide vintage style tones infused with that infamous Marr sound.

Unique Hardware Collection

Fender's Johnny Marr Jaguar has a four-position blade-style pickup switch that is mounted to the lower-horn chrome plate (bridge, bridge and neck in parallel, neck, bridge and neck in series). As well as two upper-horn slide switches (universal bright and pickup switch position four bright) which when combined and utilised create an incredibly versatile guitar that has unlimited tonal possibilities. This Jaguar guitar is also equipped with a standard Jaguar bridge but with Fender Mustang saddles and nylon bridge post inserts for improved stability, and also chrome cover and vintage style floating tremolo tailpiece, and "taller" tremolo arm with arm-sleeve nylon insert to prevent arm swing.
