Mahogany Body & Flamed Maple Top

The Ibanez Guitar features an eye-catching mahogany body, topped with stunning flamed maple. Along with its elegant contours, the guitar’s lightweight design ensures players can wield it all night long without strain. As well as appearance, the Ibanez also features a cutaway body shape which allows easier access to the higher frets for flexibility across the whole fingerboard.

Quantum Pickups

The Ibanez SA160FM is equipped with a set of Ibanez Quantum pickups, located on the bridge and neck positions, along with 5-way switching. The pickups are designed to offer the player a range of tones, letting them achieve the perfect sound. The two humbuckers provide an accelerated bass response, ideal for punchy rhythm riffs, and high-speed staccatos, while the single-coil offers a crisp treble response with a smooth middle and a firm bass. In addition, these pickups also offer a precise high-end articulation, ideal for rock and metal players.

SAT Pro II Tremolo

The SAT Pro II Tremolo is a versatile and high performance non-locking, floating tremolo. With floating suspension located to the back of the Ibanez, the SAT Pro II Tremolo can create a range of vibrato and dynamic sounds and accents. Due to the lack of a locking nut, the SA160FM retains a traditional set up style to allow quick and simple tuning adjustments to be made with the machine heads.
