The S&P Songsmith Acoustic Guitar features a stunning spruce top that offers a broad dynamic range, versatility, bright tonal character and accommodates numerous playing techniques with ease. The wood itself is quite elastic in natures, which resonates well whilst remaining strong, and provides a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm mid-range and bright, singing highs. The spruce top is contrasted beautifully by the wild cherry laminate back and sides, offering similar tonal properties that fall between the mellow tone of mahogany, and the bright sound of maple. Overall, this guitar delivers a rich blend of quality tonewoods that shine through with each chord, note or strum.

Dreadnought Body Shape

The S&P Songsmith Acoustic Guitar features a classic dreadnought body shape. The body provides brilliant volume and maintains overall tonal balance. This big body is also ideal for players with a longer reach, and those more comfortable with the larger dreadnought size. The neck features a semi-gloss finish, making it silky smooth under the hand with no drag at all. The silver leaf maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that delivers a warm, bright tone that shines through when utilising finger picking techniques.
