A Grand Auditorium Body

The K24ce has a full sized Grand Auditorium body with a softly rounded Venetian cutaway. Sitting in between the more traditional Dreadnought and Concert bodies, the incredibly versatile Grand Auditorium profile is regarded as Taylor's signature shape, delivering a balanced tone equally suited to all styles of strumming and fingerstyle playing. The solid Hawaiian koa body and top offers incredibly bright tones that improve the longer you play it. The tone wood delivers a warm rounded sparkle and rich lows to achieve a dynamic tonal range.

Unique Bracing Pattern

All koa series Taylor guitars feature the 'CV' bracing pattern, which allows the solid Hawaiian koa top to vibrate and resonate much more than standard bracing patterns. The result is an impressive level of tonal richness and projection. This bracing design is only available on guitars in the 800 series or above, reserved for some of the most premium instruments that Taylor produce.

The Perfect Guitar Neck

For ultimate playability and peace of mind, all koa series guitars feature Taylor's unique NT neck design. The NT neck was designed to give players a straighter, more stable guitar neck, resistant to common problems such as changes in humidity. The neck sits in a custom fit pocket along with laser-cut spacers. There's a perfect neck angle for each Taylor guitar, and these precision spacers create it. Best of all, because there is no glue used in the NT neck design, maintenance and adjustments can be made by trained technicians in a matter of minutes.

Exceptional Pickup System

Taylor's industry leading Expression System pickup ensures that this guitar is ready for the studio or the stage. Taylor pickup systems have been setting the standard that other brands aspire to achieve for many years. The system uses magnetic sensors mounted on the body and under the fingerboard, meaning that when you plug in, you hear an accurate, warm representation of your guitar. The pickup features an onboard preamp with a custom voiced EQ and dials to control the treble, bass and master volume of the guitar, and a phase switch for feedback control.
