Put together with the dual band EQ and stompbox, delay and chorus effects, you have a wild array of tonal possibilities at your command.

The sounds generated from this brilliant piece of digital kit range from chiming Fender twin clean tones, soulful bluesy crunch, ‘70s vintage snappy rock through to thick and dirty doom metal sounds. And this is before your further modify them by applying effects! As there is such a vast number of options to explore in this amp, you can plug in a footswitch to get instant access to your favourite presets. There’s also a USB out that allows you to connect a computer and take advantage of the free Fender Tone 3.0 application. This software can get even more out of your LT40, giving you further tone adjustment than what’s found on the amp.

A footswitch option lends you superb control of the huge number of sounds possible in the LT40 and will expand your creativity by mixing and matching presets on the fly. Finally, there’s a mono output that you can send to a recording or other audio device.
