The Laka LK-JBS features a body constructed entirely from solid acacia, creating a well-weighted instrument that has a high density and offers excellent resistance against decay. Acacia's tonal properties are deep with a woody feel and a powerful tonal projection that produces a large acoustic voice. The Laka Joe Brown Soprano Ukulele also shares many similar tonal properties to mahogany and rosewood, producing some brighter sonic-characteristics to create strong highs and a thick, punchy low-end.

With a soprano sized body, the Laka LK-JBS is perfect for beginners due to its easy playability and 12 frets.
