The Acoustic Pre stereo valve acoustic preamp is new for 2017, and is regarded as the world's first stereo valve acoustic preamp/active DI. This versatile unit is engineered for live performances and studio sessions, and delivers warmth, clarity, natural compression that was previously only available to electric guitarists, until now!

Twin Channels For A Versatile Tone

Players have the choice of two channels, each with a three-band EQ and a semi-parametric mid control. Channel A is a valve channel, and accommodates both active and passive instruments. Its high-quality valve-circuitry amplifies a wider frequency range than most electric guitar amps, and captures every nuance of the playing style, for a precise response. With this channel, the tonal effect of the valve can be fine-tuned with the preamp’s ‘Heat’ control knob, adjusting the overall negative feedback applied to the valve. This control also provides a warm attack, which is ideal for flatpickers.

Channel B is a solid state channel, delivering a softer character with pristine clarity. This channel accommodates a microphone or an instrument, and also features a switchable 48V phantom power. Players can benefit from bending both channels together, or using independently for a full variety of unique tones.
