Powerful analog sound with unique 3 oscillator ladder filter design

This all-new synthesizer from Sequential borrows elements from their classic designs such as the Prophet-6 and OB-6 synths with 6-voice polyphony and a switchable 2/4 pole resonant filter design. The newly designed voltage-controlled oscillators provide the choice of triangle, saw and pulse waves accompanied by an upgraded version of the same ladder filter found in Sequential’s Pro 3 mono synthesizer. The resonant filter features dedicated drive/feedback controls so you can dial-in your sound with ease. The unique architecture results in massive sonic power, providing a punch that only three oscillators and a ladder filter can.

Equipped with a semi-weighted keybed with velocity sensitivity and channel aftertouch, the Trigon-6 provides fluid playability, spanning four octaves in total. The variety of wave shapes on offer can be simultaneously selected so you can create massive sounds with ease. Each oscillator also features pulse width control for added tonal flexibility. Program sequences and create melodic rhythms using the built-in polyphonic step sequencer and arpeggiator. Showcasing its sonic power, Trigon-6 features 500 factory presets (and 500 user presets) that span powerful basses and leads to pads and everything in between.

Advanced sound shaping with knob-per-function controls

As well as the 2/4 pole resonant filter, the Trigon-6 features a wide range of onboard controls for shaping and sculpting your sound. Super snappy envelopes and a syncable LFO with multiple waveforms and destinations and knob-per-function controls allow you to fully harness your creative power and create any sound you can imagine. A white noise source is also included as well as hard sync for oscillator 1 and 2 (oscillator 1 syncs to oscillator 2) as well as allow frequency mode on oscillator 3.

Poly Mod section

One of the most unique features of the Trigon-6 is the Sequential’s classic Poly Mod section that has been used to create new and exciting sounds. The filter envelope and oscillator 3 (with bi-polar control) act as the modulation sources with destinations including oscillator 1, 2, and 3 frequency, oscillator 1, 2, and 3 pulse width, filter cutoff, and feedback. Expand your oscillator count to 18 (simultaneous) using the Unison mode, with a configurable voice count for added flexibility.

Dual effects section and vintage knob

Take your sound design a step further, adding colour and texture using the powerful dual effect section. Comprised of studio-grade reverbs, delays (standard and BBD), chorus, flanger, phaser and ring modulator effects; the Trigon-6 has everything you need to achieve the sound you want. There is also an independent stereo distortion effect which is fully analog to push your sound to the extreme and dial-in some aggression.

Recreate the classic sound of vintage analog synthesizers using the groundbreaking ‘Vintage Knob’ the replicate the imperfection and voice-to-voice variations associated with vintage synths. The knob allows you to dial-in these imperfections ranging from subtle to extreme to replicate the sound of classic gear with one simple control.

Design and connectivity

Sequential has long been revered in the music world for creating some of the most legendary synths that have been used to craft countless hit records. Staying true to the design and character of classic synths, the Trigon-6 features a vintage-style look, complete with wooden side panels and classic-style controls. Whilst staying true to their vintage roots, Sequential's Trigon-6 is designed with modern users in mind, with a backlit pitch/mod wheel and a built-in USB connection so you can use it for digital music production. The rear of the synthesizer also features MIDI I/O/Thru connectivity as well inputs for the volume, sustain, sequencer and LP filter parameters. It also features stereo audio outputs and a 1/4-inch headphone output.
