The Nowsonic Phonix is a two-in-one preamp and audio interface. The preamp section is ideal for connecting analog gear. This could be everything from turntables and cd players to tape recorders and musical instruments.

The preamp section features two-channels. The low-noise design conforms to RIAA standard specification for recording and playing back phonograph records ensuring high-end audio quality for vinyl records.

The integrated audio interface can be used to convert your analog music. For example, connecting a turntable allows to digitise your vinyl record collection. You can then use the audio to optimise the sound quality of your music, or for archiving purposes.

Pristine Sound Quality

Utilising custom drive technology, Phonix provides high-end AD/DA conversion. AD/DA converters are used for converting analog sound sources to digital formats. The AD/DA converters perform at 44.1 or 48kHz, capturing every nuance from your source audio. The result is rich and full-bodied sound that stays true to the original.

The premium-grade components and circuitry optimise the audio performance of your converters. The interface runs via the USB port, requiring no installation of drivers for plug and play compatibility.

Compact, Portable & Robust

The compact yet robust enclosure is highly portable. The amplifier/interface will fit easily within your backpack. This allows you to take the unit with you on the move. Convert your friend’s vinyl records or record instruments at the touch of a button. Analog audio playback is available via the line output and the variable headphone socket.

The all-metal enclosure is not only highly durable but protects against interference for optimised audio fidelity and performance. The enclosure features a separate signal and peak LED allows you to monitor your input signals at a glance.
