The Primavera 150 violin is both reliable and affordable, making it the perfect instrument for beginners. Similar to more expensive models, the 150 violin features a hand-carved maple and spruce body, not laminated. This combination of quality tonewoods and hand-carved precision produces a focused sound with plenty of tonal warmth which cannot be achieved with laminated alternatives.
Boasting an Ebony chinrest with a solid Ebony fingerboard, the fittings on the 150 violin are not only traditionally stylish but also very practical. A carbon composite tailpiece with fine tuners and ebonised hardwood fingerboard are not only aesthetically pleasing, but are lightweight and easy to use. Hardwearing steel strings mounted on to a maple bridge create a pleasing tone.
To ensure that you have the best possible experience, Primavera have included everything you need to get started. To keep the violin safe, the Primavera 150 comes with a lightweight case that offers strong protection. On the outside of the case, you will find a robust handle and backpack straps for easy transportation. On the front of the case, there is a full length zipped pocket which is perfect for all of your sheet music and a smaller pocket for accessories.
On the inside of the case, you will find that the violin has a perfectly snug fit. For an extra touch of protection, the inside is lined with a soft-touch material that won't scratch the finish of your violin. There is also a dedicated compartment for small accessories, such as the included rosin, and two bow holders. The lightweight composite bow includes an ebony frog with natural horsehair, making it durable, lightweight and very easy to use.
