The Meinl Sonic Energy Octave Steel Tongue Drum D Amara is a high-quality stainless-steel tongue drum, tuned to D Amara. It features a central bass note in the middle plus eight more notes around it. These eight notes consist of two reeds each, delivering the tone in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound – very similar to the sound of a handpan. The sound hole is positioned at the bottom of the tongue drum, which can be closed with a silicone plug to make the sound quieter.

This tongue drum features three silicone feet at the bottom to keep the drum from slipping. You can play the Octave Steel Tongue Drum with mallets or with your fingers.
