Key Features
Product Ref: 291788
This pedal offers a wide range of modulations to choose from. Included are a classic chorus, flange, and phaser, to the dynamic dimension, rotary, and filter effects. On top of these, there are also original Boss effects, with the slicer providing the effect from their SL-20 slicer pedal, and the overtone delivering their MO-2 Multi Overtone Pedals Sound. Its perfection doesn’t stop there. There are also twelve modes and a total of twenty-eight different algorithms, the Boss pedal refreshes the standard modulations with their advanced prime algorithms, enhancing their expression, extending the tonal range, and maximising transparency.
Set the pedal in A/B simul mode and use two modulation patches simultaneously, open a range of tonal possibilities. You can run the two mods in series or parallel, expanding the pedal's tone-shaping capabilities. Also featured on this model is an external loop, providing the ability to connect a gain or drive pedal for added versatility. Set the effects order to create a range of different tones, setting the drive/gain pedal before, after, or in between the two modulation effects.
The MD-500 has been designed to deliver incredible creative expression and performance flexibility, ensuring you can easily adjust parameters for simple changes or extensive adjustments. Thanks to its large LCD display, you can clearly see patch names, delay times, and other important information, making it easy to adjust parameters and advanced control features. Its assignable switches and extensive support for real-time control is perfect for a range of applications, and the MIDI I/O provides more creative possibilities and deep control options. Connect the modulator to your computer, via the USB port, and use the free MD-500 editor/librarian for remote editing, patch backup, and more.
