Are you a practice and performer? Don't want to lug heavy equipment around to venues? The 50 MKII EX is your perfect solution. Aside from being an incredibly capable combo amp on its own, the expanded connectivity of the 50 MKII Ex makes performing a breeze.

Connect to a house PA using the line out while keeping the amp speaker active. Double your output by hooking up an additional Katana MKII using the stereo expand feature and shape your sound from afar with support for up to two footswitches or an expression pedal.

Support for the GA-FC and GA-FC EX footswitches

Tired of running over to your amp to change your tone? The included Boss GA-FC Guitar Amp Foot Controller is a simple solution to such a common problem. Designed to work with a range of Roland and Boss amplifiers, this small footswitch lets you switch up your sound right at your feet.

With six switches and two expression pedal inputs you have full control over the channel and effects your amp is using. Switch between 4 channels or toggle effects on and off all while continuing to play. And if you need even more control, you can even connect two expression pedals to adjust overall volume and drive. All you need to mange your sound in one convenient package.

Truthfully, there really isn't anything the MKII can't do.

And we're still not done. In this second incarnation of the Katana, Boss have added two variants for each amp character.
