This versatile electro-acoustic bass by Gear4music features a spruce top and sapele back and sides, delivering a broad dynamic range that can be played in a number of different ways for a versatile sound. The electro-acoustic bass by Gear4music also features a nato neck mounted with a poplar fingerboard, for a warm tone and a natural feel. The fretless design offers the unmistakable sound of a fretless bass, great for expressive playing suited to any genre.
Lightweight and Comfortable Cutaway Design
The deep, round body ensures powerful acoustic projection, but also offers a lightweight build making this easy to play for musicians of all levels. Players can also benefit from the elegant single cutaway design, which provides easier access to the higher frets.
Versatile EQ Options
For added volume at larger events, this electro acoustic bass is equipped with a built-in three-band EQ and pickup, allowing players to plug and play directly into an amp for extra projection. A set of controls are featured on the upper bout and include options for Bass, Mid, Treble, and Presence, along with a low-battery indicator LED, and rotary volume control. Powered by a 9v battery, this on-board pickup provides a clear and rich sound; ideal for amplifying acoustic bass.
