Reviving the stagnated distortion pedal, Darkglass has prioritised versatility to ensure that you as the user can get the tones you desire out of the pedal. Placing you in the driving seat, this pedal is designed with five control knobs that ensure you can accurately dictate every aspect of its usage. A compression control allows you to have precise and accurate control over the amount of input gain in your sound for an accurate level. The drive adds the beautiful distortion, creating either a crisp crunch or a devastating doom of sound.

The Mod dial is possibly the most unique in this distortion pedal as it allows you to select or mix between both the Alpha and Omega circuits, with the Alpha adding a world of definition and tight, punchy attack for glistening grit. The Omega circuit on the other hand is unruly and unpredictable, ensuring complete tonal rawness for maximum devastation. The last two dials affect the impact of your effect, with the Blend dial deciding how much of the clean signal you wish to pass through while a Level dial allows you to dictate your volume for optimal enjoyment.

Six-band EQ

The Alpha Omega doesn’t leave any aspect of your sound to chance. A six-band EQ opens the possibilities for full tonal shaping, allowing you to adjust every frequency band accurately and precisely, for the exact distortion sound you require. So, whether you want to dial up your bass for a thicker and fuller tone to chug chunky chords, or a thinner, brighter sound for soaring solos, any sound can be achieved. They are optimised for live settings as well, utilising touch-sensitive dials with status LEDs, the pedal offers a premium feel and live feedback.

Complete connectivity

This pedal delivers an abundance of connectivity options to work in a wide variety of different scenarios and be utilised for a multitude of applications. Stereo inputs with an aux-in option mean that the pedal is perfect for practicing or recording with a backing track, allowing you to easily connect a laptop or mobile phone. When it comes to output, the pedal offers two balanced outputs, meaning that, in combination with a USB-C port, it can be used effectively as an audio interface. An XLR output with a ground lift switch allows you to effectively connect to a mixing desk for an ideal low noise signal.
