One of the most popular heads in the Orange range, the TH30H contains a massive wealth of tones easily accessed from six control knobs. These simple dials open a world of varied sounds that make the Thunder Head amp adaptable to many genres. Equipped with four tried-and-tested EL84 valves, anything you play on this capable amp head will be rich in bass, possess a defined mid-range and tight at the high-end. Famous for bell-like clean chimes and glorious crunch compression, it's clear to see why the TH30H is a top choice.

Full tone no matter your volume

Play anywhere with that full valve crisp tones thanks to the built-in attenuator. To get the sweetest response from valves they need a lot of current running through them, this usually means having the volume cranked up. Fine for larger gigs but if you're practicing at home, it might disturb the neighbours….and the entire street! With the 7, 15 and 30 watt output options on the TH30 you can adjust your volume without sacrificing that hallowed tube tone.

Double trouble with twin channels

The TH30H benefits from twin channels, allowing you to get creative and find your signature sound. The Clean channel produces sweet, crystalline shimmers, right up to the point of breakup. Plug into the clean channel on the Thunder 30 and you will be presented with one of the most evenly voiced, glistening clean tones you have ever heard. Glassy harmonics will jump out of your guitar, providing you with a truly unique voice. In addition, the Clean channel features EQ shape control, offering a variety of tones from gentle blues to classic rock with all variations in between.

Switch over to the Dirty channel for powerful shape controls, sweeping the midrange from scooped to boosted, in addition to providing complex harmonic overtones even at maximum gain settings. Achieve a host of saturated gain textures that will delight any fan of crunch, from casual rockers up to the most diehard metal heads.
