Equipped with four EL-34 power tubes and six 12AX7 preamp tubes, this amp delivers a powerful tone with every channel. It allows you to achieve a clean American-style voice with a punchy low end in channel one, which also responds amazingly to pedals. Mix this American-inspired tone with a monstrous overdrive using the crunch mode which gives it that extra bite.

If you’re looking to reminisce a vintage British-style amp, channels two and three are perfect. They provide a British amp-style tone that is prolific in its heavy, dryer gain. Channel three in particular offers rich harmonic overtones and beautiful sustain, meaning you can blast a full and crunchy undercurrent through your sound and still project clear harmonies over the top. Such a colourful palette of voices makes this amp ideal for both graceful, softer harmonics as well as intense metal shredding.

Magnificent MOSFET boost

Suhr have cleverly designed this amp to simplify your pedal board. Apply the high voltage MOSFET boost (250V to be exact) to any channel and push the clean channel into overdrive. It provides a boost to the front end of the amp and will make your sound even more thrilling and captivating. The vibrancy the boost provides is unbelievable: increase the saturation, sustain or harmonic qualities to make your sound shine. However you choose to use it, the sonic possibilities are mesmerising, making it perfect for lead tones and that insane jaw-dropping chorus. The footswitch included with the amp allows you to control the mosfet boost remotely, as well as enabling you to switch channels stress-free. This gives you the freedom to solely focus on your wondrous playing on stage, with minimal effort required to change tones mid set.

The advanced effects loop that is included on the Suhr PT-100 lets you operate in either a traditional series mode or parallel mode, at line or instrument level.
