All recordings are done in MP3 format. Digital audio formats allow you to backup your music as much as you'd like, so even if the worst should happen and one storage location becomes damaged or corrupted, you'll still have damage-free backups elsewhere. It's a much lengthier, more expensive process to have a new vinyl cut, and vinyl can become easily damaged or worn over time.
That's where the IMG Stageline DJP-106SD comes in. With a USB port (type-A) and an SD card slot, you can record your vinyl tracks directly to a USB storage device, or an SD/SDHC card (up to 16GB capacity). You can also connect the turntable to your computer and record your collection into your chosen software (software not included). The DJP-106SD features a manual track split function, and boasts automatic level adjustment when recording to a USB device.
