Teenage Engineering PO-35 Speak

Instantly Record Your Own Voice

The Teenage Engineering PO-35 Speak is a vocal synthesizer and sequencer that lets you record your own voice through the built-in microphone, and then sample it and completely play around with it to create a funky, unique sequence. Once your voice has been recorded, you can change its pitch or scale, sequence it along with your drum loop, and even add interesting effects on top of it whilst playing the sequence. The PO-35 now features 8 voice characters. Additionally, you can also record samples using the 3.5mm Line In for external devices.

Sequencing and Effects

In addition to the voice sampling, the PO-35 Speak also provides a built-in sequencer for creating your own patterns, as well as 8 effects. You can use the integrated tonic drum machine to tap in drum sounds on-the-fly. The PO-35 Speak lets you quickly manipulate and edit your sounds on-the-fly with the front panel buttons. You can punch-in these effects whenever you feel the need to while playing sequences and sounds. Expect loop effects, stutter, scratch, reverse and more.

Sample With Built-In Microhone Or Line In

The PO-33 lets you sample any sound source using the line in, or the built-in microphone. Use the built-in microphone to record your voice or foley sounds on the-move, then build a sequence and enhance it with the integrated 16 effects. The PO-33 offers 40 seconds of sample time, with 8 melodic sample slots for chromatic playback, plus 8 banks for drum playback. You can also live record drums over your sample using the high-quality preset drum kits. The PO-33 KO features 16 chainable patterns, BPM with adjustable swing, and parameter locks, providing you with a miniature sampler that's sure to provide you with hours of enjoyment.

The Pocket Operator features a sharp and easy to read LCD display which gives you information on all your controls and parameters on the Pocket Operator, allowing you easily monitor and change any controls. Underneath the LCD display, Teenage Engineering have incorporated an integral speaker for added convenience, allowing you to create and listen to your sounds and sequences on the fly.

The Pocket Operator features multiple real synthesizer engines for exceptional audio quality and harmonic qualities, allowing you to manipulate and edit the sounds on the fly. You can quickly manipulate the sounds you trigger with the ‘A’ and ‘B’ rotary knobs, which control pitch and modulation as well as other parameters. You can also punch-in effects whenever you feel the need to while playing sequences or sounds. Everything from delays to bit crushers and filters will keep your sound bank fresh even after extensive use. The Pocket Operator also features a 16-step sequencer with 16 patterns for added versatility, allowing you to create loops and sequences on the fly.

Daisy-Chain Multiple PO Units

One of the most unique and versatile features of the Pocket Operator is the ability to link multiple units together all while syncing them to play in unison. This opens up a world of possibilities allowing you to expand your sounds and performances to a near infinite amount. The units feature two separate inputs for daisy-chaining multiple units and for connecting you external speakers.
