After 20 years of LUCAS (Lightweight Ultra Compact Active System) development, HK Audio brings you LUCAS 2K. Designed to meet the needs of DJs, the LUCAS 2K PA systems offer incredible performance across a broad range of applications. Each system is loaded with a 2000W (peak) power amp and HK's revered advanced DSP technology. Premium components and road-ready enclosures ensure maximum reliability, allowing you to take it on the road without concern. HK's ergonomic MultiGrip and ErgoGrip recessed handles also aid with transportation and handling, so you can set up for every show comfortably and safely. No other system can match the LUCAS 2K's offerings in such a compact and portable package.

Expandable 2.1 PA system

This 2.1 system consists of two LUCAS 2K satelites and a LUCAS 2K15 active subwoofer. This doesn't stop you from adding more beef to your sound though. The system can be easily expanded using one of HK's Linear series L SUB 1500 A active subwoofers. The L SUB 1500 A is a perfect match for the 2K15 sub and system. Simply use two XLR cables to connect the 2K15's thru-ports to the L SUB's left and right inputs. A few small parameter adjustments, and you're all set. Your system will deliver a balanced audio image with incredible power and punch.

Road-ready construction and reliability

Rugged MDF enclosures and protective metal grilles aren't the only thing keeping your system safe. Crafted in Germany with premium components, the LUCAS 2K system boasts exceptional headroom and a range of active protection circuits. Peak and RMS limiters keep your levels in check, whilst a 24dB subsonic filter tames undesirable low-end rumble.

The LUCAS 2K systems have been carefully engineered and optimized for portable applications. Each satelite features a milled recessed ErgoGrip handle, whilst the subwoofer boasts HK's intelligent MultiGrip handles. Combined with a lightweight and compact design, transport and movement is a breeze.
