Live 11 Intro offers a timeline-based workflow with Arrangement and Session view. The Arrangement view provides you with a timeline to organise your music and build your song. Live's revolutionary Session view provides you with a unique sketchpad for improvising, playing, and performing ideas, without the constraints of the timeline. Freely and independently start and stop any number of tracks and jam out in real-time.

Ableton Live 11 Intro contains a range of features from the full version of Ableton Live 11. The streamlined version provides you with 16 audio and MIDI tracks, 8 scenes, 2 send and return tracks, and 4 mono audio input and output channels. Ableton Live 11 Intro features 4 software instruments including the Drum Rack, Impulse, Instrument Rack, and Sampler, with a range of audio and MIDI effects for processing and mixing your sounds. The MIDI Effects Rack, Drum Rack, Sampler and Instrument Rack have all been updated for Live 11. This version features the basic elements for editing and tweaking your sound.

You can also set up to 16 macros on your racks for maximum flexibility.

Installation instructions

1. Create an account or register a new account via the Ableton Live login page
2. Once logged in, you can then authorise Live either online or offline
3. Authorising ONLINE is done by opening Ableton Live and following the authorisation dialog
4. Authorising OFFLINE is done by opening Ableton Live and following the additional instructions by copying down your hardware code and completing the process using an online account on a different computer or with an authorisation file
