Channel G

The McDSP Channel G is a console emulation plug-in with six different modes, each of which accurately models some of the best analog mixing consoles available. Perfect for any audio application from studio production, live mixing and post-production, the Channel G features double precision processing with zero latency and VENUE S6L integration, meaning it maintains the highest audio quality possible for live mixing.

Made from several modules, Channel G lets you sculpt and shape any instrument or sound in your mix. Everything from a multi-mode filter with selectable slopes from 6 to 24dB/oct, fully-featured five-band EQ with parametric, expander and noise gates and dynamics processing in the form of a compressor and limiter. A one-stop solution for sculpting, shaping and creating punchy and consistent tracks, the McDSP Channel G includes routing options for your dynamics processing pre or post-EQ to fine-tune your processing.

Channel G Compact

The McDSP Channel G Compact is a virtual console, offering six different modes which accurately emulate revered analog mixing consoles. Delivering the same sonic signature as the Channel G in a streamlined DSP-friendly format with reduced CPU usage, the Channel G Compact offers a vast array of modules to craft the sound of any instrument in your mix. Comprised of everything from compression and limiting, dynamics processing, noise gates and expanders, a four-band EQ and more, you can create consistent, hard-hitting and professional-sounding mixes at incredible speeds.

Taking the stress out of adjusting complex compression parameters, Channel G Compact includes 11 pre-defined compression algorithms, allowing you to quickly find the right sound to either reduce or enhance transient information in your instrument. The compression module also features pre and post-EQ routing, making it easy to shape the transients of your sound against any EQ moves that you make in your mix.

Filterbank

McDSP Filterbank Native is an all-encompassing EQ plug-in that can be put to use on a variety of different sources. Filterbank was McDSP's first product and can rival any physical EQ unit thanks to its versatility and packed set of features that allow usage in almost all EQ scenarios. ML4000

MC2000

The McDSP MC2000 is a premium-quality four-band multi-band compressor plug-in which emulates a range of classic and modern hardware compressors. Comprised of four independent compressor bands, each with a full range of conventional controls including the signature BITE control, you can tailor the response of each frequency band independently. Making it perfect to work on a myriad of instruments or sounds within your mix, each frequency band can be freely adjusted independently or globally and can be bypassed on and off when only specific regions require compressing.

Unlike traditional broadband compressors, the MC2000 multi-band makes it simple to target specific frequency-based dynamics in your sound. Reducing the 'bloom' in the low frequencies of a bass drum or the chesty resonance of a lead vocal performance can be targeted without effecting the overall compression levels of the rest of the frequency spectrum.

CompressorBank

CompressorBank is a high-end compressor plug-in designed to emulate the sounds of vintage and modern compressors, while delivering complete control of dynamic compression. In addition to the standard threshold and ratio controls, the actual shape and response of the compression curve can be adjusted with the Knee and BITE controls. Flexible compression control is complimented with pre-filtering and post-compression EQ.

McDSP 6030 Ultimate Comp Native is a versatile compression plugin offering ten different types of compressor suitable for a variety of uses. 6030 builds on the compression algorithm used in other famous McDSP compression plugins to bring you a simple and easy-to-use interface that will suit novices and professionals alike. DE55

McDSP DE555 Advanced De-esser Native is a modern take on de-essing with innovative technologies that allow de-essing at any signal level. DE555 features intelligent signal analysis not found on other de-essers that enables you to de-ess at any signal level, what's more, is that this is all done without the need for a manual input threshold control knob. Fine-tuning of your de-essing is made easier than ever with the DE555 as other controls include a continuously adjustable ratio and release controls.

NF575

NF575 is a notch filter plug-in, designed to help eliminate unwanted resonances and frequencies while leaving the rest of your audio untouched. Boasting five definable frequency bands with aggressive low and high-pass filters up to 36dB/oct, the NF575 lets you target specific artefacts in your audio with a surgical narrow slope. Perfect for rectifying poorly recorded audio that may feature AC hum or distorted whistling, the NF575 is a must-have addition for post-production or studio mixing engineers.

FutzBox

FutzBox is a unique distortion and noise generator that completely transforms your instruments or mixes and flips them completely on their head. Futzbox uses synthetic impulse models to completely transform your sounds to simulate the sounds of radios, mobile phones, televisions and even airline earphones plus many more all in one interface. There is a comprehensive set of presets designed by McDSP so you can get a quick fix or you can even create your own effects with filtering and EQ, noise generator and gating parameters to complete your creation with changes being able to be mixed in real-time so you can do whatever you like, whenever you like.

Analog Channel

The McDSP Analog Channel is a twin pair of plug-ins, emulating the sound of classic analog amplifiers and tape machines. Including both the AC101 configuration and the AC202, the McDSP Analog Channel lets you add character, warmth and authentic analog sound to digital tracks, loops or samples to give your sounds a new lease of life.

The AC101 configuration adds preamp gain up to an extremely high level without introducing digital distortion. Featuring a drive control which determines the level of saturation and attack and release times, you can tailor the response of your preamp sound to any kind of instrument you find within a mix. Adding warmth to your sound is made easy with the AC202 tape emulation algorithm. Boasting a range of parameters including bias control, playback speed, saturation recovery time, low-end roll off and even a choice of EQ modes, you are offered far more than is traditionally possible on hardware tape machines. The increased functionality ensures that you'll find yourself lacking in inspiration for adding rich sounds to any instrument in your session.

Revolver

The McDSP Revolver Native v7 is a convolution reverb plug-in featuring real-world impulses and impulses from classic and rare outboard machines. Providing complete control over your impulse, you can sculpt your reverb to fit the context of any mix, with dedicated controls for negative and positive pre-delay, attack, dedicated two-band EQ and even manipulate the waveform itself to shape the envelope.

Encompassing a compelling library of impulses with hundreds of sounds from rare holy grail reverbs to real acoustic spaces, it's ideal for creating space and depth for almost any instrument or sound in your mix. If that's not sufficient enough, Revolver includes a slew of modifiers from two-band EQs, twin stereo delay lines, and unique crossover tools to break your impulse into three frequency bands for additional processing to craft a vast soundscape for your project. Should this not be enough to find the right sound for your mix, Revolver v7 features tools for creating impulses of your own reverb spaces or snapshots of other equipment from guitar cabinet speaker simulation or pre-amp EQ curves.
