Small but mighty, this 8-inch subwoofer employs a glass-composite woofer to deliver superior bass reproduction. Bass can make or break your sound, but with the Sub 8 you can rest assured your mixes will translate well on any medium. The front-firing design and premium-grade components complement smaller studio monitors, allowing you to mix and master with precision. The Sub 8 is the perfect companion for the Eris studio monitor series.

At the heart of the subwoofer is a 100W Class A/B amplifier delivering powerful and detailed sound. It ranges all the way down to 30Hz so you will capture even the subtlest nuances from your bass. From high-end headphones to the club, mixing and mastering using the Sub 8 will deliver beautiful results.

Crossover with ease

Pin-pointing the frequencies where the studio monitors stop and the subwoofer begins can be a tedious process, but not with the Sub 8. It provides you with two filter controls so you can easily find the crossover point. Both high-pass and low-pass crossover controls are included so you get setup within minutes.

The highly accurate filtering system helps to combat muddy and cluttered low-end sound that can occur when using less-refined controls. The high-pass filter is also useful for attenuating the subwoofer for use with satellite speakers.

Versatile connectivity

Connecting your existing monitors is a breeze with the rear of the subwoofer offering both 1/4-inch and RCA inputs. From here just set your input level using the continuously variable control and your good to go. There is even a polarity invert switch so you can adapt to any monitoring situation.
