The SPL 2Control Stereo Monitor Controller is one of the most versatile monitor controllers on the market, providing control for both loudspeakers and headphones. The 2Control Monitor Controller provides you with the means to control near-field monitors, full-range speakers and headphone monitor for two listeners. Digital converters and sound cards deliver varying signal levels to the output, resulting in a lowered bit rate in the monitoring signal, and in turn resulting in the loss of audio quality. The SPL 2Control utilises an analog circuit to ensure virtually no loss in quality, capturing every nuance of your source material as it was intended. This makes the 2Control Monitor Controller one of the best on the market, delivering exceptional audio fidelity.

Dual-Channel Monitoring & Crossfeeding

The dual channel configuration of the SPL 2Control allows for connection of up to two sources, two stereo speakers sets and two headphones. The three speaker outputs are driven by their own balanced stage, minimising signal degrading influences for improved performance. Each headphone output is driven by a separate amplifier, allowing independent operation of two headphones without the interaction from the other output.

Crossfeed Control

One of the most unique features of the 2Control is the Crosfeed control, featured on both headphone outputs. These are derived from the premium-grade headphone amplifier – Phonitor. The Crossfeed control gives you the ability to adjust the stereo panorama, corresponding to a stereo speaker image. This allows you to hear your audio through your headphones, as if it was being played through a standard stereo speaker set.

Design & Connectivity

The compact and highly robust design, makes it ideal in any home recording or professional studio setup. The front-panel of the SPL 2Control features a large 45mm volume potentiometer, allowing you to dial in your volume with extreme precision. The internal active circuitry ensures a constant impedance, improving the overall audio performance of the controller. Source and speaker output switches as well as mono and dim switches are included for optimal control over your sources. Three balanced XLR speaker outputs are included, with 2 x Stereo for full range or near-field speakers and a single mono output for subwoofers. Both headphone channels feature their own volume control, as well as a potentiometer for the Crossfeed control
