Key Features
Amplifying a violin should be a pleasure - not a compromise. This was the ethos used when designing the Realist RV5E E series electro-acoustic violin. Now with a low C string, the RV5E is perfect for extending your range for viola repertoire.
Bulit by musicians, for musicians, the Realist RV5E violin has been carefully designed for maximum comfort. Small details like putting the jack on the back and having the volume knob integrated into the side rib help with accessibility and overall enjoyment. Once combined with the premium European tonewoods, you will realise the RV5E is an exceptional violin.
This complete outfit includes everything you need to start playing. It includes D'Addario 5 Helicore strings, a white Sinfonica shaped case, and an Orchestra V carbon violin bow.

By using the historic combination of a maple body with a solid spruce top, the Realist RV5E produces a focused and powerful sound with plenty of body. Thanks to the natural properties of wood, this sound will continue to improve over time. And now with the additional C string, you can start to play in the viola register.
The real magic of the Realist violin happens when you plug it into an amp. The world-renowned integrated David Gage pickup system delivers all the nuances of the violin's true sound. By retaining the organic properties of the violin when amplified or acoustic, you don't need to adapt when switching. And thanks to the clever design of the pickup system, it can easily be removed for repair without compromising the instrument's structural integrity.
At the back of the violin you will find the input jack strategically placed. This enables the cable to go over your shoulder so it doesn't interrupt your performance. For even more convenience, the volume knob is integrated into the treble-side rib, and is finished with the same varnish as the violin to blend in.
The Orchestra V carbon violin bow is much stronger and resilient than a traditional wooden bow. Carbon fibre bows don't expand or warp with variations in temperature or humidity and are much less likely to snap. Because of this, carbon fibre bows are widely used for orchestral tours, outside performances, or even for extended col legno passages.
The fully mounted frog combined with the Parisian eye and abalone slide really make this bow a spectacle to look at. High-end features such as the silver mount and tip help to accentuate performances while also giving the bow a luxurious feel. Final touches such as silver wire winding and Pernambuco veneer complete this professional level bow.
The Helicore five-string violin set is one of the most popular string sets on the market. The focussed tone and incredible bow response make these strings perfect for classical, alternative, bluegrass, and electric instrument players. Scaled to fit a full-size violin, the medium tension strings are optimised to the needs of the majority of players.
The Helicore violin set is created to have a very short break in time, often settling in a matter of hours, making them perfect for someone who's seeking tonal clarity, without being overly bright. Thanks to the addition of the low C string, you can now extend your range and play viola repertoire.
The fibreglass shaped case from Sinfonica offers everything you want from a violin case. Thanks to the lightweight fibreglass body, travelling couldn't be easier. And once you attach the padded shoulder strap, you'll forget you're even carrying it. The interior of the case comes complete with two bow holders and a storage compartment to store all your essential accessories. Your violin will be housed in a padded velvet effect body, which when combined with the matching blanket, offers fantastic protection for the finish of your instrument.
