The Aerophone's reed-style mouthpiece will feel familiar to experienced woodwind players, whilst its rapid response and natural vibrato control make it highly accessible to total beginners. The highly sensitive breath and bite sensors are customisable, as is the fingering setup. You can configure the fingerings for a number of existing instruments, or personalise the Aerophone and create your own unique layout. Whatever your style, you'll love the seven-octave range and easy transposition options, making it a simple matter to play along to anything.
The AE-20 utilises Roland's SuperNATURAL sound engine to stunningly deliver acoustic sounds such as Alto, Tenor, and Baritone saxophones; flute, trumpet, and clarinet; and even world instruments like the shakuhachi or the bagpipes. The ultra-lifelike SuperNATURAL technology imbues all of these soundsets with realistic overtones, articulations, and dynamics - all carefully derived from your input.
This instrument also uses the ZEN-Core Synthesis System - the same sound engine Roland uses in their flagship keyboard synths. This allows you to experience classic analogue synth sounds, as well as performing with exciting modern digital voices.
